The Pathways to Justice Conference is a statewide conference convened every three years by the State Bar of California. This year, the conference is combined with the Judicial Council Center for Families, Children & the Courts’ Self-Help Conference. The conference (PJSH2019) is also in partnership with the Legal Aid Association of California and is being held at the Ronald M. George State Building.
PJSH2019 is California’s only statewide legal services and self-help conference that brings together legal services organizations, pro bono organizations, court-based programs, tribal courts; private law firm attorneys; law school faculty and pro bono administrators; law students; court interpreters; and community partners. It is an opportunity to come together for two days of substantive trainings with an additional pre-conference day with half-day courses on Disaster Preparedness and Conducting a Court Self-Help Center Cost-Benefit Analysis.
