2026 Annual Solicitation for Advisory Body Nominations

The Executive and Planning Committee is currently soliciting nominations to fill vacancies on Judicial Council advisory bodies. A description of the advisory body’s functions, goals, duties, membership, and terms of service appears in of the California Rules of Court, rules 10.30 through 10.68.

Time Commitment

Membership requires a commitment of 10–15 hours per month on average but may vary considerably from month to month, depending on the projects underway. Advisory bodies meet in person once per year and by videoconference 4 to 10 times per year. For additional information, see Annual Advisory Body Time Commitment.
