2019 Updates

On October 8, 2019, Assembly Bill 1818 (Stats. 2019, ch.637) amended Government Code section 68514 and Penal Code section 1463.010 to consolidate collections information from the two reporting requirements into a single, comprehensive, annual report due on or before December 31 of each year, starting in 2020.

For the 2019-20 reporting period, the statewide collections programs are required to submit one Collections Reporting Template, due on or before September 1.

Section 384 of the Code of Civil Procedure Amendment

Effective July 1, 2018, any unpaid cash residue funds will no longer be distributed to the State Treasury for deposit in the Trial Court Improvement and Modernization Fund and the Equal Access Fund of the Judicial Branch (see Senate Bill 847).
