Description

The Judicial Council of California, chaired by the Chief Justice of California, is the chief policy making agency of the California judicial branch. The California Constitution directs the Judicial Council to improve the administration of justice by surveying judicial business, recommending improvements to the courts, and making recommendations annually to the Governor and the Legislature. The Judicial Council also adopts rules for court administration, practice, and procedure, and performs other functions prescribed by law.

The Judicial Council seeks to identify and retain one or more qualified Contractors to prepare, deliver, set-up and tear-down catered meals, in a professional manner with the utmost attention to detail.

As an internal services organization, the Conference Center & Reception Services Unit (located within the office of Conference & Print Production) is tasked with placing catering orders in conjunction with meetings taking place in the conference rooms that are located within the buildings at 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco, and orchestrating the logistical needs of meetings, conferences, trainings, etc. taking place on site. Historically, the Judicial Council has tried to establish an on-going and mutually beneficial relationship with a professional catering company to service these catering needs throughout the year. This is done in an effort to leverage the volume of business into cost savings that would allow the Judicial Council to administer public funds in a sound and fiscally responsible manner.

Questions should be directed to solicitations@jud.ca.gov and must be received no later than 1:00 pm Pacific Time, August 22, 2023.

Proposals must be received by the Judicial Council no later than 1:00 pm, Pacific Time, September 7, 2023.

Further details regarding the solicitation are set forth in the RFP LSS-2023-07-LV and related documents provided below:
