The Legal Services Office provides legal advice and services to the Judicial Council, trial courts, appellate courts, and AOC offices. The office provides statewide legal guidance on various issues, including court administration, legislation, and policy development. It also reviews and prepares reports related to court closures and reduced hours, as well as reviews new and amended local court rules for compliance with rules of court. Additionally, the office offers transactional assistance on matters such as procurement, risk management, and operational initiatives, as well as litigation support and management services.
