Overview The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for an Attorney II to work in the Center for Families, Children & the Courts Court Assistance, Resources, and Education (CARE) unit, with a focus on juvenile law, specifically children in foster care, including title IV-E regulations as required in the Judicial Resources and Technical Assistance (JRTA) program. Attorneys in this unit provide legal assistance and materials to judicial officers, court-appointed counsel, and others working in this highly complex area of juvenile law.

Overview The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Supervising Analyst in the Collaborative Justice and Behavioral Health unit of the Criminal Justice Services office.The Supervising Analyst will direct the work of two Senior Analysts, one Analyst, and one Associate Analyst. Digital Courts oversee the design, development, and support of E-Filing and several essential applications, including CCPOR (California Courts Protective Order Registry), ACMS (Appellate Case Management System), Appellate DMS (Document Management System), CIDCS (Court Interpreters Data Collection System). The Law Clerk’s primary duties will be finalizing judicial opinions and performing clerical tasks, but with the opportunity to function as a research attorney as time permits by conducting research and analysis, drafting opinions, and providing legal recommendations. The Law Clerk is expected to begin on or around September 2, 2025, and will serve the position for at least two years.
