Description

The Judicial Council of California, hereinafter referred to as the “Judicial Council” or the “JCC,” chaired by the Chief Justice of California, is the primary policy making agency of the California judicial system. The California Constitution directs the Judicial Council to improve the administration of justice by surveying judicial business, making recommendations to the courts, and making recommendations annually to the Governor and the Legislature. The Judicial Council also adopts rules for court administration, practice, and procedure, and performs other functions prescribed by law. (Cal. Const., Art. VI, sec. 6.) The JCC’s staff assists both the JCC and its chair in performing their duties for the purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP).

This RFP is being issued by the Judicial Council, on behalf of itself and the Superior Courts of California (collectively, the “trial courts,” and individually, the “trial court”).

Government Code section 72010 directs the Judicial Council to enter into one or more master agreements to provide for telephone appearances for the trial courts in civil cases under Code of Civil Procedure section 367.5.

Key Dates & Deadlines:
Questions should be directed to TCSolicitation@jud.ca.gov and must be received no later than 3:00 pm Pacific Time, March 23, 2022.

Proposals must be received by the Judicial Council via email to TCSolicitation@jud.ca.gov, no later than 3:00 pm, Pacific Time, April 1, 2022.
