Answers to Questions
The Judicial Council of California (JCC) seeks to retain the services of qualified Service Provider Firm(s) (SPF) with expertise and experience in Facility Operations and Maintenance (FOM) programs as described herein. The JCC has established a two-step selection process to accomplish this important goal: 1) pursuant to this RFQ, solicit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from SPFs to establish a shortlist; 2) shortlisted SPFs submit responses to a Request for Proposals (RFP) to furnish FOM Services for California’s courts statewide. The statewide court facilities that are the subject of the RFQ and the RFP will be divided into three geographical regions: BANCRO, NCRO, and SRO as described in Attachment 3.
Facilities Services is responsible for maintaining and operating court facilities to ensure uninterrupted and equal access to justice for all Californians. There are over 250 facilities with approximately 10 million square feet of space fully maintained by JCC and over 150 facilities with approximately 2 million square feet where the JCC has some level of maintenance responsibility.
Questions regarding the RFQ should be submitted in writing to the Judicial Council of California via CapitalProgramSolicitations@jud.ca.gov no later than July 16, 2019 at 2 PM Pacific Time.
Statement of Qualifications are due: August 12, 2019
