Description

The Judicial Council of California/Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is implementing "Courts in the Classroom," a statewide law-related education website designed to educate the public-particularly California's youth-about the third branch of government. Utilizing a storytelling approach, the site employs animation, graphic novels, and comic strips to illustrate concepts of justice, rights and responsibilities, and the role of local courts in both mediating conflict and applying law, with an emphasis on protecting individual rights under the State and Federal Constitutions.

The AOC seeks to identify and retain qualified services providers to illustrate storylines for the website project. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is the means for prospective service providers to submit their qualifications to the AOC and request selection as a service provider.

The AOC intends to award a six-month contract commencing January 1, 2005.

Service Providers (Illustrators) are asked to submit proposals by 5 p.m. on December 17, 2004.
