The Judicial Council of California reports that the Fresno County court-ordered debt program had a balance of $327 million, representing 561,553 cases as of FY 2011-2012. The program's Gross Recovery Rate was 56%, exceeding the recommended benchmark but decreasing by 29 percentage points from the prior year due to a reporting error. The Success Rate was 44%, also exceeding the benchmark but decreasing by 27 percentage points. Meanwhile, the Glenn County court-ordered debt program had a balance of $14,812 and collected $1.58 million from 18,198 cases in FY 2011-2012, with a Gross Recovery Rate of 28% and Success Rate of 29%.
