The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) conducted a report on the services provided by its staff to the Judicial Council in June 2014. The report aimed to catalog and review all AOC services after experiencing budget cuts and staff reductions. The report found that many services were critical to supporting the Chief Justice's Access 3D initiative, which prioritizes equal, physical, and remote access. The report also identified next steps, including quantifying workload and determining staffing levels, which will require analyzing every office and may result in prioritizing services or realigning staffing. The ultimate goal is to provide recommendations to the council on how to utilize remaining staff most effectively.
