The Superior Court of Los Angeles County suggested adding language to form MIL-100 to account for military personnel who are members of the Individual Ready Reserve, National Guard, or Selected Reserve, as these individuals may still be eligible for certain benefits despite not having been deployed. The State Bar of California's Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services supported the proposed changes to MIL-100. Another commentator from Sacramento County recommended adding fields for date of birth and social security number to the form, as well as a section for the Department of Veterans Affairs, but the committee declined these suggestions due to concerns about privacy and redaction procedures.
