Body

The proposal allows court executive officers to complete their continuing education requirements through various means, including traditional (live) education, online courses, self-directed study, and faculty service. At least half of the required hours must be completed through traditional education, but the presiding judge has discretion to determine how many hours must be in live education. The remaining balance can be completed through any other means with no limitation on type or format. Court executive officers are responsible for tracking their own participation and keeping a record for three years after each course or activity applied toward the requirements.
