Judicial Administration: Changes to Delegations in Rules of Court

The Judicial Council requires the Administrative Director of the Courts to report on actual expenditures from various budgets at the end of each fiscal year. The Administrative Director also implements the council's directives and develops policies for creating and implementing a yearly budget for the judicial branch. The Director of the Finance Division administers budget policies, prepares a budget process, and monitors revenues and expenditures for the judicial branch. The Judicial Council also requires the preparation of a financial policies and procedures manual for superior courts, which must be consistent with court rules and council policies. The manual is made available for comment from various stakeholders before being issued or amended.
