The Education Division within the AOC has a high staffing level compared to other divisions. To reduce costs and increase efficiency, the Strategic Evaluation Committee (SEC) recommends several changes. These include: relaxing mandatory education requirements for staff and judges, reducing attorney positions in the Education Division, eliminating Court Case Management System-related training units, decreasing the size of the Production, Delivery, and Educational Technologies Unit, and evaluating the need to develop training for AOC staff. The goal is to provide education in a more effective and efficient manner while reducing costs during times of budget constraints.
