Third Party Claims Administration Services for Trial Courts
The Judicial Council of California established a Litigation Management Program to respond to claims and litigation arising out of trial court operations and to provide an efficient, accountable way to manage such claims and litigation. By rule of court, the council has authorized the Administrative Office of the Court's (AOC) Office of General Counsel to act for the council on claims against the trial courts, judicial officers, and employees of those entities.
The AOC has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) on April 5, 2004, to seek the services of one or more claims administration firms to provide claims administration services to the AOC for third party claims against trial courts, judges, subordinate judicial officers, court executives, and court employees in third party actions covered by the Judicial Council of California's Litigation Management Program.
Proposals must be received prior to 5 p.m. on April 27, 2004. Only written responses will be accepted. Responses should be sent by registered or certified mail or by hand delivery.
