Electronic Service of Appellate Briefs to the Supreme Court
For the purposes of this webpage, the term "brief" does not include motions, applications, appendices, exhibits, or other documents. The term "brief" means only:
- An appellant's opening brief
- A respondent's brief
- An appellant's reply brief
- An amicus curiae brief, or
- An answer thereto
Submitting an electronic copy of the brief on the Court of Appeal will satisfy the requirements for service on the Supreme Court under rule 8.212(c)(2).
