DUI/Drug Court Pilot Project

The Judicial Council received a grant to implement a Collaborative Justice DUI/Drug Court Pilot project from the California Governor's Office of Traffic and Safety. Grant funds have been awarded to four trial court pilot programs to determine whether the existing collaborative justice drug court model currently implemented throughout the state, can be utilized for repeat driving under the influence (DUI) offenders as well.

As the Judicial Council's staff agency, the Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) seeks the services of a consultant/research firm with expertise in developing and conducting program and impact evaluations. The respondent chosen will be asked to help design and implement a statistical performance reporting mechanism/s and execute an evaluation for the four trial court DUI/Drug Court pilot projects.

Consultants are asked to submit proposals by 1 p.m. on January 31, 2005.
