Frequently Asked Questions

Who may participate?
Anyone may sign up to provide approximately 5-7 minutes of input to the Task Force. Speakers will be scheduled in small groups and will address the Task Force as a panel. There will be time for the Task Force to ask questions of each panel of participants. The Task Force also encourages you to provide written materials. You may submit written materials in advance, or provide them on April 6. You may feel free to expand in writing on issues that you do not have enough time to cover within the time limit.

How will Task Force members receive the input?
There will be numerous representatives of the Task Force in attendance for the full day on April 6, and the meeting will be audio recorded and made available to all members of the Task Force.

May I attend to observe, and not provide input?
Yes, there will be seating available on a first-come-first-serve basis. The auditorium seats 225 people.

Is it possible to participate in the April 6 meeting by telephone?
No. Because of technological limitations, we are not able to connect callers to the litigant and advocate input group meeting by telephone.

How else may I provide input?
In an effort to allow participation on April 6 through as many methods as possible, the Task Force has made arrangements for participants to audio record input. This option is available on a first-come-first-serve basis for anyone who would like to provide verbal input but prefers not to address the Task Force directly. The same 7 minute time limit for input will apply.

The Task Force also encourages you to provide written materials. You may submit written materials in advance, or provide them on April 6. You may feel free to expand in writing on issues that you do not have enough time to cover within the time limit.
