Judge Jonathan B. Conklin

Hon. Jonathan B. Conklin

Judge Jonathan B. Conklin presides over the trial department at the Superior Court of Fresno County. Judge Conklin serves on the court’s Executive Committee, Education Committee, and Access to Justice Committee. He also served as the court’s presiding judge from 2014 to 2015.

Judge Conklin chairs the council’s Trial Court Budget Advisory Committee, which provides input on the budget process for the benefit of all trial courts statewide. He is a faculty member of the San Joaquin College of Law, and has served as an advisory board member for both Turning Point of California and Volunteers in Parole.

Prior to joining the bench, Judge Conklin was deputy chief of the Fresno branch of the U.S. Attorney’s Office. While at the U.S Attorney’s Office, he also served as an assistant U.S. attorney and as a senior litigation counsel.
