Ralph Andersen & Associates Selected to Search for New Administrative Director
San Francisco – The Judicial Council of California announced today that it has hired the national executive search firm of Ralph Andersen & Associates to assist it with the search for a new Administrative Director of the Courts.
“We’re pleased to have selected a national executive search firm that has extensive experience in recruiting executives working in the public sector,” said Justice Harry E. Hull, Jr. of Sacramento, head of the Judicial Council’s search committee. “We believe this firm will assist us in being both thorough and expeditious. We hope to have a recommendation to the Chief Justice and the Judicial Council in approximately six to eight months.”
Based in Rocklin, California, Ralph Andersen & Associates has provided executive search services to an array of cities, counties, and state agencies since 1972.
The firm will search for a successor to William C. Vickrey, who retired earlier this years after serving in that position for 19 years. Mr. Ronald G. Overholt, Chief Deputy Administrative Director for 11 years, has been appointed as Interim Administrative Director.
